We're Sara Covey + Suzy Brown of Simply by Suzy.
We met years ago through our love of photography and shooting film together. Sara is a content creator who is known for her beautiful, colorful photo essays on film of traveling with her family all around the world. Suzy has run a studio specializing in photographing families on film for the last 15 years.
We have gotten so much joy in our lives from shooting film.
Because the process of shooting film allows for more presence with the subjects in front of your camera.
Because going through a few rolls of film is so much more manageable than having thousands of photos to download and select from on your computer.
And because film is just so.damn.pretty (I mean, the colors sigh)
Learning how to shoot film in our personal lives and work has been one of the best creative choices we've made. So our goal is to bridge that gap of knowledge, and make shooting film more accessible and easy to understand.
